Who: US-based telecom company, Verizon

Why: The Verizon rebrand aims to shed its dry, tick-mark, functional image and move to a warmer, more vibrant persona.

What: We appreciate the rationale, but just can’t unsee the Netflix likeness in the “V”. Rebrand by Turner Duckworth. We do appreciate the fact that the rebrand was accompanied by a host of new announcements like Verizon Access, a new platform for all customers that provides exclusive access to the events and experiences, like music, sports, theatre and more. There is also Verizon Business a smartphone management solution for business customers.
